Arrozur, the first parboiling plant in the country, is a joint venture of several rice mills, forty-seven percent of the shares of which are owned by SAMAN. Through this company, we provide parboiled rice to both domestic and foreign markets since 1977. The traditional method of soaking the rice grain in pure hot water for a set amount of time, then cooking it quickly at high temperatures, and finally drying it in several stages and milling it, makes it possible to offer a grain of rice that provides nutritional enhancements and can be easily prepared.

In addition to parboiled rice, at Arrozur we extract and refine rice bran oil derived from the defatting process of the rice bran.
